In collaboration with Adam Hansel at Deadvoltage, we were asked, by Monarch, to create a visual identity, which would appeal to the younger guests at their roadside restaurants.

Taking inspiration from the mid 20th Century, a golden design age for both cartoon and classic roadside diners and mixing it up with a modern twist, the result was the 'Venner på Vejen' (Friends on the road) concept. This combined a set of original characters and custom lettering, used across various print and digital media.
